Next was a short flight south to Maya Flats Airstrip for three nights in Chaa Creek resort. Highlight of the stay there was a day trip into Guatemala to the Tikal Mayan ruins:

Karen and I are presently travelling in Belize. It’s amazing to see how much it’s developed since I was here in the 80’s.
